The End of May! Summer Here We Come!

I can't believe May has already come and gone! It looks like I will only be writing posts once a month! Maybe I mentioned that already. My brain is such a jumble! But us Ryker's have had some fun! So to start we have a new "big boy" in the house! Caden has had the side of his crib removed to make it a toddler bed and he loves it. I didn't think I was going to enjoy his new freedom but since they share a room It hasn't been too bad. They both keep each other company. And                                                       last night they wanted to sleep together. Of course there was not enough room so Caden gave up and I found him in Christian's bed instead. :)
For Memorial Day we did some family strawberry picking at Ingram's Strawberry Farm in High Point which I too
thought would be a disaster since Caden LOVES strawberries but he was the first one to fill his bucket to the rim! He did such a good job he started filling Christian's and Daddy's buckets. We took those lovely strawberries home and I made an awesome Strawberry Pie. MMM MMMM MMMMMMMMM! Christian has his Gymnastics Exhibition on May 30th so I will be taking plenty of pictures and video. Rumor has it he will be getting a medal! Caden's birthday is coming next month. I think with the baby coming and the fact that he will only be turning 2, we will be taking a trip to the NC Transportation Museum. Caden is still very much in love with trains and I think this will be a wonderful trip we can take together as a family. My mom has requested a Birthday wish list for Caden on Amazon.com so I thought I would share it on here as well. You can click the link to the right or click here.
Well I think that is about it for now. Thanks for tuning in and we will see you next month! (Hopefully it will be sooner but I don't make promises.)

It's April Already!

Not much has been going on here. Just happy Spring has Sprung! With our new number 3 on the way we decided to get a little bit bigger of a vehicle. It's a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country and the boys love it! Christian loves to show people, "mom's new automatic car." (The doors open by themselves.)
And with such nice weather we have been taking plenty of opportunities to go play out side in the back yard. Both boys looked so cute in the hats that they just had to wear that I made sure to take a few pics.
Last of course is the evidence of the wonderful helpers I now have to help with the laundry. (Please don't mind the outfits. Lately they are very into no shirts or "altered" shirts for whatever reason and I don't have that much energy to really care.) They just love throwing the clothes in the washer and dryer and with me slowly losing the ability to lean over, this helps tremendously.
